If you have ever suffered with problematic skin then I sympathise. I've experienced dry, itchy skin and even a few doses of very uncomfortable dermatitis throughout time. My daily life involves a lot of inevitable hand washing (washing dishes, washing hands after handling my pets, etc) and this area of my body is where I suffer with dermatitis the most as a result.
My fingers become itchy, dry, flaky and very sore. The itching and soreness has kept me awake many a night! My legs get dry and very itchy sometimes after shaving or bathing too. This also has made it difficult for me to sleep.
With that, I was delighted and very thankful to be sent MooGoo products. I actually expected only one product to arrive but MooGoo were so kind and generous and they sent me a lovely extra!
You can take a look around on their wonderful website to view their wide selection of products here Moo Goo
The best part is they are cruelty free. None of their products are tested on animals, nor do they ask anyone to test for them :) Plus their packaging is adorable and whimsical. I love the cow puns so much.
The first is their Moo Goo Irritable Skin Balm
This is a balm especially designed for eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis sufferers as well as itchy or dried out skin. It can be used on babies and adults. The product comes in a generous 4oz sized squeeze tube. Perfect packaging that allows more control over how much product is deposited and far more hygienic.
I used this when my hands were suffering severely. Itching, flaking and dried out with my usual dose of dermatitis. After only a few applications my itching had subsided greatly and my skin was unbelievably soft. The dry, raw flaking skin on my fingers had started healing much faster than it normally would. I was very, very pleasantly surprised.
Usually my skin is so dry that very little products have any effect on it. This balm blended into my skin nicely with no greasy residue. It has a lotion formula and for me, thicker cream formulas are more my preference. Despite my preferences, however, I still really liked this balm. A little formula goes a long way so you will find the 4oz of product goes considerably far!
The scent is extremely 'au natural' and subtle. It lifts after a short time making it even less noticeable.
I highly recommend this product if you have problematic skin.
The next item I was sent is the Tingling Honey Lips lip balm. All of MooGoo lip balms are edible which I personally think is fantastic. When you use a product around your mouth it's reassuring that the ingredients are safer for consumption.
This particular lip balm has a menthol, lemon tingle combined with honey. All super moisturising ingredients that treat dry lips rather than just masking the problem! My lips become incredibly dry, cracked and they even bleed despite my best efforts to keep them moisturised. This did a great job softening and soothing them (I applied it directly after my lips had just stopped bleeding and it really soothed the sting!). It also has a pleasant after taste which is a nice bonus. Highly recommend this for dry lip sufferers!
I can not recommend MooGoo enough as a company. Their hard working staff are so professional, fun and wonderful to talk to. Thank you MooGoo for your generosity and kindness in sending me these products. I can't wait to try out more in future!
