What's better than giving the gift of a candle in a delicious festive scent? A whole little present box full of wax melts and votives, that's what! Fill your box with a variety of scented votives and wax melts to give that candle lover the gift of maximum excitement. Plus they make a fantastic stocking stuffer.
I purchased my small gift box from a local gift card shop for just 99p but these can be found in practically every store.
All from Yankee Candle: Raspberry Sundae Votive with Christmas Eve, SnowFlake Cookie and Candy Cane Lane Wax Melts. |
When picking candle scents the top notes are your first impression, the mid notes follow and your final impression is in those base notes.
Choose a variety of wax melts and votive candles to make your personalised Christmas candle box.
My faves this year are from Yankee Candle. Check them out below.
Candy Cane Lane (Left): So sweet, so minty fresh. Top notes of peppermint, sugarcane and spearmint for classic candy cane vibes. The mid notes carry Candied Caramel alongside Vanilla Mint for extra sweetness. All wrapped up with base notes of Vanilla Bean, Malt and Tonka.
SnowFlake Cookie (Middle): A great one for those who love sweeter scents as this blends top notes of fluffy marshmallow and vanilla icing with mid notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. All finished off with base notes of sweet buttercream and sugar cookie. If that doesn't sound delicious enough to eat...
Christmas Eve (Far Right) - Combines all your favourite Christmas scents in its top notes of orange, almond, lime and lemon. A centre of mid notes with red berry, cinnamon and nutmeg. The base shows off violet, amber, creamy praline and traditional vanilla.

Got a foodie to please? How about a Pink Snow Brownie Jar? It's got pretty pink sugar at the top for that pretty sparkling pink snow look.
Clip jars work great for this purpose because they are incredibly sturdy and make for a great storage jar once the contents are used but you can also use a mason jar with a lid if you prefer.
This type of gift is homemade so it has a personal touch making it extra special to give as a gift.
Make your own small tag with the ingredients and cooking instructions, attach a Christmas ribbon and the tag to the jar and boom, a gorgeous, delicious gift for super cheap!
If the person you are giving the gift to is unable to consume nuts then feel free to swap them out for vegan chocolate chips.
Find full ingredients (for brownies and frosting) and baking instructions for this jar below.
This frosting is SO delicious. It tastes exactly like the icing on supermarket birthday cakes. NO JOKE. The vanilla milk is important because it's what gives the frosting its super delicious flavour. You can intensify the vanilla further with a little vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste if you like a stronger flavour but it's still pretty fantastic by itself.
Hope you enjoyed this gift guide!
