Garnier Moisture Match Review (For Dry to Very Dry Skin)

7 May 2014

Garnier released a range of 5 moisturisers under the Moisture Match label that cater to all different skin types. The range provides moisturisers for skin types that include oily, combination and dry.

Today's review takes a closer look at the Garnier Moisture Match specifically designed for dry to very dry skin. This contains Camelia oil which is known for its nourishing properties and Mannose which helps the skin to retain moisture. The result is softer, more hydrated and plumper looking skin.

Garnier Moisture Match can be purchased for approximately £3 to £5 from most drugstores and supermarkets depending on where you purchase it from.

Each of the moisturisers are conveniently packaged within a 50ml squeeze tube with a flip cap. The squeeze tube makes for a much more hygienic product and application. It also allows more control over how much product you deposit which, in my opinion, is always awesome.

The formula of this particular moisturiser for dry to very dry skin is mousse-like in consistency. It blends out smoothly over the skin, is non-greasy and sinks in fast leaving a very slight dewy finish. The dewiness is barely noticeable and not greasy or oily at all.

The Camelia oil is very slightly recognisable within the scent. It's very light and refreshing.

After using this for a few weeks my skin has become noticeable clearer. (Believe it or not, break outs can actually be caused by the skin being too dry!)

My skin felt more hydrated, soft and looks much more plump/youthful as a result of using this for only a few weeks. I am highly impressed with this product and it has fast become my favourite face moisturiser.

I took a photo of my skin directly after using this product in natural lighting so that you can see the extent of the 'dewy finish' that this has. I have absolutely no make up on in this photo. I personally found that it was barely noticeable. As you can see my skin is quite clear looking. This is partly down to using this moisturiser on a regular basis. Though it isn't a spot-fighting moisturiser I find that due to the dry nature of my skin it can sometimes break out more as a result. This moisturiser has definitely hydrated my skin to the extent I feel my breakouts have been greatly reduced as a result and I absolutely love it!

Let me know if you tried this product and how it worked out for you!
