Seventeen Stay Time Concealer Review

Seventeen recently released Stay Time. A range of different make up products with extra staying power. The line carries foundation, concealer, powder and a combination primer-highlighter.

I adore my beloved Stay Time powder and it has become the only powder I will use since I bought it (check back for a review of the powder very soon!) so when I found out the Stay Time concealer had been released I was more than eager to use it and see how it worked for me.

The concealer is contained within a sleek tube carrying a doe foot wand applicator. Advantageous because it's a quick and easy method of application. However I personally prefer other types of packaging simply because doe foot wands are particularly difficult to keep hygienic. It is also harder, if not impossible to retrieve the product from the sides of the container. Also the continuous dipping in and out of the tube with the wand can cause air to become trapped inside the tube and make the product expire faster.  This is one of only two complaints I have about this product.

My second complaint is that the shade range is limited. This line only comes in three shades. Extra Fair, Fair and Medium. I chose the shade 'Extra Fair'. Its an extremely light porcelain colour. My fair skin has some warm undertones so I found it worked wonderfully to cover the slight darkness under my eyes as well as brightening the whole area. If you have darker skin or yellow/beige toned skin there isn't really a suitable shade for you from this line. Of course if your skin is fair or medium, you're in luck. The limited shade range is particularly disappointing because aside from that the non-scented formula itself is wonderful. 

Full coverage, long lasting, non-greasy, non-sticky. Applies beautifully with a brush, sponge or clean fingers. Liquid formula dries to a smooth matte finish. Covers redness and blemishes considerably well.  Doesn't sink into lines (or crease), doesn't slide, doesn't wear off easily. It generally lasts all day for me so its Stay Time title well deserved for the most part. The primary claim is that this concealer lasts up to 18 hours. Will it last 18 hours completely? That is doubtful. Especially if you have oilier skin than myself. However it is still very long lasting.

In the following photos I am wearing this concealer underneath my eyes and around my nose with no foundation base over the top. I applied foundation outside of these areas. Both photos are taken in natural daylight with no filter.
