Packaging?
Reflective eye catching silver twist on top and glass bottle. I had no problems with the functionality of the packaging. The brush is very easy to use and quite good quality. The glass bottle is very sturdy. Ideal for travelling with as a result. (Though as with travelling with any glass nail polish bottles do still take some pre-cautions just in case!)
Scent?
This product has no noticeable scent outside of the normal 'nail polish scent' that you get with all nail polishes.
Functionality?
This nail polish requires at least two coats to achieve maximum opacity. (Meaning you need two coats to require a stronger colour on the nail.) It is best to apply the coats in thinner layers and allow to dry completely in between applications. If you don't, the polish tends to stay wetter for longer and you will increase the drying time. If you were to apply this nail paint in one thicker coat, expect to wait at least ten minutes for drying. (It is true that some nail polishes can be applied in one fairly thick coat - such as the w7 nail polishes - and dry fairly quickly but this does not.) Otherwise it usually takes about 3 minutes per application (for me personally).
This polish requires patience to use (due to needing a few applications and ensuring you wait long enough for it to dry) but it is infinitely worth it. After just two coats you get gorgeous colour which, for me, lasts around 4 days at least (and I don't usually wear a base coat or a top coat because I'm too lazy!). I am frequently using my hands in every day life for tasks like washing dishes and general cleaning up so for this to last 4 days on me (considering I don't wear a base or top coat too) I think is great.
If you wear a base and top coat with this nail paint I imagine you will get at least 5 days use out of it before it begins to chip. (Depending on how much you use your hands in general every day life tasks.)
It's non-streaky, applies smoothly and dries to an opaque finish. The colour is a very rich royal blue. Absolutely stunning! It has a very reflective or shiny finish. Very eye-catching, very vibrant.
I adore the colour, it is one of my absolute favourite shades of blue and overall this is a great quality nail paint.
