Last week I finally took a trip to the new Superdrug Beauty Studio near to my area. I specifically went there to look at more Make Up Revolution products and hopefully buy some more. And that is precisely what I did!
This entry will show you what I bought and in follow up entries I will post in-depth reviews and swatches of everything you see here!
The Beauty Studio itself was such a pleasant place to shop in and Make Up Revolution's stand within the store was just very creatively and thoughtfully laid out. Absolutely loved the way they made every product available to swatch. The stand itself was also very pretty. I wish I had taken a photo of it but I got too excited looking at the products! Doh!
Having already used the Salvation Dia Des Los Muertos Palette (check out my review of this palette complete with swatches here http://sparklyshellcosmetics.blogspot.com/2014/07/make-up-revolution-salvation-dia-de-los.html) I knew I wanted to use more palettes from the Salvation line. Run Boy Run caught my eye immediately and I adored the mix of gold, brown and pink tones within the palette.
SO GORGEOUS! SO EXCITE!
Next to capture my attention were the I heart make up lipsticks. My eyes fell upon this light pink shade called Babydoll and I knew I had to make it mine.
Lastly I remembered I needed a new eye primer as I was running low on my current Along Came Betty one. This primer works well but unfortunately the tone of it doesn't work well for me. It has a strong orange tinge and I find this makes it impossible to apply past my eye lids (else I have brow bones that resemble clementines).
And I re-called that Make Up Revolution had a primer within thier line so my eyes scoured their stand to see which ones they had in stock. Eventually I picked up the Stay Don't Stray primer. SO much love for the packaging!!
That was everything I picked up. Of course I intend to visit the Beauty Studio again in future and can not wait to grab some more from this amazing line!
