Review: Freedom Make Up London Mono Eyeshadows

27 August 2015

Soon after Make Up Revolution's line exploded into the make up scene, their sister brand Freedom Make Up London wasn't far behind with an equally affordable range of make up for pro artists and those who simply enjoy studio quality products.

Part of this range includes single or mono eye shadows in sleek, flip-open, circle pan packaging.
My collection began with just 2 shades and has now expanded to 6.

Mono shadows allow you control over your personal make up colour palette. Ideal to slip into your cosmetic pouch when you travel or throw in your handbag for touch ups.

Freedom Make Up isn't short of colour choice with a combination of 30 matte, shimmer and satin finishes. The finishes are categorised as Brights, Nudes, Smoulders and Bases.

#202 is a Base, shimmer finish, white based vanilla. Extremely reflective, heavily pigmented and softly textured, this one blends like a dream and makes for a very bright, pretty base lid colour.

#203, a beautiful satin finish Base shade. This is quite intricate with a light pinky-peach depth to it. Blends seamlessly like an absolute dream! Ideal for a chic daytime office make up look or as a brightening lid/highlight shade.

#211 is a Smoulder. A shimmery finish silver with a light gun metal streak. Blends easily with extreme pigmentation. Use it to create night time worthy smoky eyes.

This Brights in #222 has a serene mid-green almost oceanic tone with a buttery, heavily pigmented, shimmer finish. A perfect pop of colour.

#228 carries a bright purple hue with lots of depth. Its velvety texture is easily softened for a subtle pop of colour or built up for a full on vibrant eye.

#229 is almost #228's matte sister. The matte finish is a little on the chalky side so use sparingly to avoid too much fall out. The texture is equally as soft as its shimmery counteparts and it blends beautifully to create a soft yet colourful smoky eye.
