When I heard about Australian skin care company Moo Goo's sister makeup range Dusty Girls, I was excite. Very excite.
If products with organic flare are your go-to then check out their extensive skin and hair care range here. Their entire skin, hair and make up range is based on organic, natural, non irritatable (though patch testing is always advisable just in case!) ingredients.
A single look at the Dusty Girls Night Fall Mascara had me in love with it. Its adorable pastel purple packaging, its pretty moniker, all so, so cute!
The non-irritating, gentle formula carries a strong, black as night pigmentation alongside nourishing jojoba and caster seed oils. I did like the depth of the shade a lot.
It's incredibly easy to apply and glides on the lashes like an absolute dream. I had next to no clumping and the formula wore all day long. It did not irritate my eyes at all so if you find that traditional mascaras cause irritation then this is perfect for you.
I will openly admit that my preference is with mascaras that amp up my lashes dramatically. I like the false eye lash look. And whilst this is deeply pigmented, the overall final application is a little too natural for my preferences. For days when I want a quick and natural finish or as a lower lash mascara, it's very ideal.
I also found that sometimes the mascara tended to migrate a little into my eyes, causing it to transfer a little on my waterline and into the corners of my eyes. This may have been a result of my slightly oily complexion, but as always, I feel it's important to give you an honest review.
For those looking for a long lasting, gentle formula mascara with deep black pigment that gives natural flutter to the lashes, this is for you. Your lashes will look light, fluttery and defined all day long.
