Today's make up combines neutral and vibrant. A shocking shade of pink to contour the eyes with a deep blue to underline the eyes. I don't think a day as gone by since I got my Urban Decay Electric Palette that I haven't used it!
As always with my make up routine I applied an eye primer to start with. Eye primer increases the wear time of your eye make up tenfold and it's an absolute essential to me.
Equally as essential to me is to use an adhesive cream shadow underneath powdered shadows. Today I used a neutral peach by Max Factor.
This palette by Make Up Academy contains many pretty neutral shades that can be mixed and matched easily. I chose the shade Shy, a shimmery pearl finish white-vanilla and placed this over the lids. I introduced vibrancy to this look through contouring the crease with this stunning shocking pink shade called Savage from the Urban Decay Electric Palette.
To create a lash line with depth I first applied an adhesive cream base (doing so adds vibrancy to any powdered eye shadow). I underlined my lower lash line with this stunning Turquoise liner from Make Up Academy. Over the top I added a combination of Chaos and Gonzo from the Urban Decay Electric Palette (above).
To complete my eye make up I added definition to my lashes with Seventeen's Back Lash mascara.
My skin, though fair, has become slightly warmer over time. Because of this I have found that certain types of light foundations can sometimes make me look too pale. This was unfortunately recently the case with my Rimmel Stay Matte foundation in Light Porcelain which left the foundation unwearable on its own. To counteract this I mixed it with my Stay Matte foundation in Ivory which actually produced a very fitting shade for my skin tone. To brighten my eye area I blended Seventeen's Pwhoarr Paint concealer over the under eye area.
This concealer is amazing and it stands firmly as one of my absolute favourites to use on a daily basis.

To set my base make up I patted Seventeen's Stay Time Pressed powder over my skin.
To give my face a flush of colour I blended Elf's Studio Cream Blush in Heartbreak into the contours of my cheeks. Heartbreaker is a beautiful vibrant pink. The reason I applied the blush secondary to powder is because the blush is a cream formula and will appear more vibrant over the top of a powdered product. I don't find that applying these blushes over powder inhibits their blendability at all. Reviews of these blushes can be found here: ELF Studio Cream Blushes Review
I coloured my lips with a shocking Perfect Pink Go West lipstick by W7.
The completed look!
