Inversion Hair Growth Method (Second Attempt!)

9 March 2015

Disclaimer: Do your research before beginning this hair growth method. It is not suitable for some people such as pregnant women or those with circulatory disorders. If you have any concerns about your health see a professional GP. I am not a doctor, nor is any of the advice I give of a medical nature. Your diet, genes and lifestyle will all affect what sort of results you gain from this method. Last time I undertook this method I had my period. I mentioned that it isn't advisable to do this method during your cycle due to the 'disrupted' blood flow but that I was fine. I was not on my period this time. If you're female, whether you do this on your cycle or not is entirely up to you. But like I said, see your GP if you have any concerns because I'm not a doctor and this is not medical advice.

I decided to give this method another go since I'm currently in the process of growing my hair to a more desirable and manageable length after having it cut shorter.

I admit I was not overly excited about doing this for a second time. That was mainly because it was a bit of a chore remembering to massage and then actually doing the massage itself every day for a week.

My second attempt felt like a chore, I won't lie. But I persisted with it because I was so happy with the results from my first attempt at this method.

I kept a day-by-day diary as I did before. Here's how it went the second time around!

And the results?

I got about the same results as last time. I measured the length of my hair to begin with...

And just as a quick re-cap, this is how my hair looked at the start of my first attempt using this method:

And finally the results! Keep in mind that of course the results are slight, but they are there. I'm thrilled with the results once again :)

Overall, almost an inch! Woo hoo! If you look super closely you can see my natural fair colour starting to peek through thanks to the extra growth. Going to get my hair coloured next probably in April or May to cover that up!

Have you ever tried this method? Did you see any results? Let me know!
