These brownies are a treat food but they are very low in sugar (unrefined), making them a little healthier than traditional desserts full of refined white sugar.
Baking Time: 25-30 minutes
Baking Temperature: Gas Mark 5 or 190 degrees
Makes approximately 12-15 brownies
Brownies
200g (2 Cups) Self Raising Wholemeal Flour
2 Eggs
100g (1 Cup) Light Margerine
30g (1/2 Cup) of Soft Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Unsweetened Organic Cocoa Powder
1 or 2 Tablespoons of Unsweetened Organic Cashew Butter
40g Plain Chocolate Chips
Frosting/Toppings
Can be eaten plain or with frosting/toppings of your choice
Serve alone or with:
Low sugar custard
Vanilla frozen yogurt
Low fat/sugar vanilla ice cream

I
used a thin layer of Betty Crocker Vanilla frosting on the top and middle of my brownies and
then added a small milk chocolate square to each individual brownie for
decoration.
Simple to make and super delicious!
